Software Engineer will design and deliver responsive front end interfaces and scalable backend services using React Js TypeScript Node JS HTML 5 and CSS 3 Work in a hybrid day shift model collaborating across global teams to build secure performant and maintainable applications that enhance customer experience and support long term business growth through reliable digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high quality front end features using React Js TypeScript HTML 5 and CSS 3 to deliver responsive and accessible user interfaces that align with business requirements and usability standards.
- Develop and optimize backend services with Node JS to support scalable data processing secure api integrations and efficient communication between user interfaces and enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with product owners business analysts and peer engineers in a hybrid work environment to refine requirements clarify edge cases and translate complex needs into clear technical solutions.
- Review and refactor existing code bases to improve performance maintainability and readability while ensuring consistent use of modern patterns and best practices across front end and backend components.
- Define and implement reusable components styling systems and shared libraries in React Js and TypeScript to increase development efficiency and reduce duplication across multiple applications.
- Create and maintain automated tests including unit integration and component coverage to support stable releases reduce defects and enable confident refactoring over time.
- Monitor application performance and error metrics using appropriate tools and dashboards to identify bottlenecks resolve incidents and proactively enhance system reliability.
- Work closely with user experience and visual design teams to translate design assets into pixel consistent layouts in HTML 5 and CSS 3 ensuring accessibility compliance and cross browser compatibility.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions providing constructive feedback and sharing knowledge of React Js Node JS TypeScript and modern web standards to uplift overall engineering quality.
- Document technical decisions architecture diagrams api contracts and deployment procedures to support cross team collaboration and smooth onboarding for future engineers.
- Coordinate with DevOps and platform teams to ensure efficient build pipelines environment configurations and secure deployment practices for hybrid day shift operations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating new frameworks libraries and tools that can enhance developer productivity and strengthen the company digital product ecosystem.
- Align daily engineering activities with the company purpose of delivering trustworthy digital experiences that simplify customer journeys and create positive impact for society through reliable technology solutions.
Certifications Required Preferred certifications include React Developer certification and Node JS qualified certification or equivalent contemporary web development credential.
