New Product Development (R&D;) We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager – New Product Development (NPD) to lead our Research & Development team. You will drive the creation of innovative products from concept to commercialization. The ideal candidate possesses a robust background in the food and nutraceutical sectors, with a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks

Key Information

- Reporting To: Director
- Experience: 3+ years in Food, Nutraceuticals, or Pharmaceuticals
- Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Food Science or Food Technology
- Regulatory Focus: FSSAI (India) and US FDA (International)

Key Responsibilities

Product Innovation & Development

- Lead the formulation and development of new products in food and nutraceuticals.
- Reformulate existing products to improve taste, cost, nutrition, and shelf-life.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from bench-top scale to commercial launch.
- Incorporate pharmaceutical precision into nutraceutical delivery systems where applicable.

1. Dosage & Format Formulation

- Develop stable formulations across all formats: powders, gummies, tablets, and beverages.
- Optimize active ingredient delivery, masking off-notes in functional beverages and gummies.
- Conduct rigorous stability and shelf-life testing for varied packaging formats

Regulatory & Quality Compliance
- Ensure all formulations comply with food and nutraceutical regulatory standards (e.g., FSSAI, FDA, or relevant local bodies).
- Review product labels, ingredient lists, and health claims for legal compliance.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of trials, stability studies, and raw material specs
- Approve compliant nutrition facts, supplement facts labels, and health claims.
- Prepare documentation for international regulatory filings and product registrations.

Education
- Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
