Network/Security SME: Responsibilities
- Design and develop control-plane and data-plane components for firewall/NGFW platforms (L3–L7).
- Build high-performance packet processing systems using multi-core architectures (DPDK/ODP).
- Develop and maintain management interfaces (CLI, APIs), secure access (SSH), logging, diagnostics, and telemetry.
- Implement security features including SSL/TLS, IPSec, SAML authentication, PKI, and certificate lifecycle management.
- Develop cybersecurity modules such as DPI, IPS, malware protection, and content filtering (URL categorization/reputation).
- Drive scalable and secure system architecture, including HA, clustering, licensing frameworks, and secure coding practices.
- Perform performance optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting using tools like GDB, Wireshark, and Valgrind.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security, architecture, and vulnerability remediation. Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in C/C++ systems programming on Linux/embedded platforms.
- Strong expertise in L3–L7 networking protocols (TCP/IP, routing, switching, SSL/TLS, IPSec).
- Proven experience in data-plane development and packet processing optimization.
- Deep understanding of Linux/embedded OS internals, multithreading, and high-performance systems.
- Hands-on experience with CLI/API development, logging frameworks, telemetry, and SSH-based management.
- Solid knowledge of security architecture, including PKI, authentication, and certificate management.
- Experience with firewalls, DPI, IPS, malware protection, and content filtering systems.
- Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills in complex real-time environments.
- Ability to design scalable systems and lead technical discussions.
