Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer with 7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking, firewall security, wireless technologies, cloud networking, and IT Service Management (ITSM). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting secure, scalable network infrastructure across both on-premises and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Network &

- Security Infrastructure :
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot FortiGate Firewalls, including security policies, VPNs, NAT, and UTM features.
- Implement, manage, and support Aruba and Cisco switches and wireless access points.
- Configure and maintain VLANs, routing, switching, STP, trunking, and wireless optimization.
- Implement network segmentation and security best practices.
- Support and administer Genian NAC (Network Access Control) solutions.

2. Monitoring &

- Operations :
- Monitor network infrastructure using Site24x7 or equivalent monitoring tools.
- Proactively identify and resolve performance, availability, and connectivity issues.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for network incidents.
- Participate in on-call support and major incident management.

Cloud Networking :

- Support networking components within AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Configure VPC/VNet, subnets, route tables, security groups, VPNs, Direct Connect, and FastConnect.




- Troubleshoot hybrid connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.

4. IT Service Management (ITSM) :

- Work within ITIL/ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.
- Resolve service desk tickets within defined SLA timelines.
- Maintain accurate network documentation, topology diagrams, configurations, and SOPs.
- Participate in change management and infrastructure improvement initiatives.

5. Customer &

- Stakeholder Management :
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers during incidents.
- Provide timely updates during outages and major service disruptions.
- Support internal audits and compliance activities.

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with FortiGate Firewall Administration
- Aruba and Cisco Switching &
- Wireless Technologies
- Network Protocols : TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLAN, STP
- VPN Technologies : IPSec, SSL VPN
- Network Access Control (Genian preferred)
- Infrastructure Monitoring Tools (Site24x7 or equivalent)
- Cloud Networking : AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Good understanding of ITSM processes and best practices

Preferred Certifications :

- ITIL Foundation
- Fortinet NSE Certification
- CCNA / CCNP
- AWS or Oracle Cloud (OCI) Certifications

Preferred Experience :

- Experience managing multi-site global network environments.
- Exposure to high-availability firewall clusters.
- Experience with network security audits and compliance.
- Basic knowledge of network automation or scripting.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid customer handling experience during critical incidents.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
