Gewan Infotech is looking for an experienced Network Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, managing, and securing enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in routing, switching, network security, wireless technologies, and firewall administration to ensure high availability, performance, and security across our IT environment. Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and SD-WAN environments.

Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, and other network devices.

Monitor network performance and ensure maximum uptime, availability, and reliability.

Configure and manage VLANs, routing protocols, NAT, VPNs, QoS, and network segmentation.

Implement and maintain network security policies, firewall rules, IDS/IPS, and access controls.

Perform network capacity planning, infrastructure upgrades, and performance optimization.

Troubleshoot complex network connectivity, latency, and performance issues.

Collaborate with system administrators, cloud engineers, and security teams to support business operations.

Maintain accurate network documentation, topology diagrams, and standard operating procedures.

Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and industry best practices.





Provide technical support during incidents, planned maintenance, and disaster recovery activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator.

Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and VPN technologies.

Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Aruba, HP, or similar enterprise networking solutions.

Experience configuring and managing enterprise firewalls and network security solutions.

Strong understanding of wireless networking technologies and access point management.

Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or AWS networking concepts is an added advantage.

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Fortinet NSE

JNCIA / JNCIS

Aruba Certified Professional

Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate or equivalent certification is a plus.
