Role Description This is a full-time, in office role for NDT Freshers based in Panihati. The role involves supporting senior technicians in performing Non-Destructive Testing activities such as assisting with Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle, Penetrant, and visual inspections on various industrial components and equipment. Day-to-day tasks include preparing inspection surfaces, handling basic NDT instruments under supervision, recording test results, and maintaining proper documentation and reports.





NDT Freshers will participate in on-the-job training, follow safety and quality standards, and help ensure that inspections are carried out accurately and efficiently. The role also includes collaborating with team members, communicating observations clearly, and learning to interpret inspection data in alignment with company procedures.

Qualifications

Strong analytical skills to interpret inspection data, identify irregularities, and support problem-solving in NDT activities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with technicians, instructors, and clients in industrial environments.

Foundational knowledge in Mechanical Engineering or related fields, with an understanding of industrial components and equipment.

Basic familiarity with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for reading drawings and understanding component geometry is an advantage.

Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred; fresh graduates and entry-level candidates are welcome.

Willingness to learn NDT methods and standards, follow safety protocols, and work in field and workshop conditions.

Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow instructions and documented procedures accurately.

Readiness to work on-site in Panihati and travel to industrial locations as required.
