About The Role Beco is looking for an experienced National Sales Manager – General Trade and Modern Trade to lead and scale our GT business across India. The role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding distribution, strengthening channel partnerships, and building a high-performing sales organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the national General Trade and Modern Trade sales strategy aligned with business goals.
- Drive primary and secondary sales growth while delivering revenue and market share targets.
- Expand distribution, improve outlet coverage, and strengthen distributor and wholesaler networks.
- Lead, mentor,
and develop Regional Sales Managers and field sales teams to drive execution excellence.
- Monitor sales performance, forecasting, budgets, and key business metrics.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Identify growth opportunities, optimize sales processes, and drive operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in FMCG or consumer goods sales, with robust exposure to General Trade and Modern Trade.
- Proven experience leading national or multi-region sales teams and managing large distributor networks.
- Strong track record of driving distribution expansion, revenue growth, and market execution.
