Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated n8n Automation Intern who has hands-on exposure to building automation workflows using n8n . The intern will work closely with our product and engineering teams to automate business processes across sales, operations, customer support, marketing, and e-commerce.

This internship provides an excellent opportunity to work on real-world automation projects that directly impact thousands of users.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, test, and maintain automation workflows using n8n .
- Develop end-to-end automation for:
- Seller onboarding
- Product listing and catalogue management
- Customer support ticket routing
- WhatsApp, Email, and SMS automation
- Customer engagement campaigns
- Marketing automation
- Lead capture and CRM integration
- Order notifications and status updates
- Inventory synchronisation
- Marketplace integrations
- Internal team workflows and approvals
- Integrate APIs and third-party services such as REST APIs, Google Workspace, Slack, WhatsApp Business API, OpenAI, payment gateways, CRMs, and e-commerce platforms.
- Create reusable workflow templates and documentation.




- Monitor workflow execution and troubleshoot failures.
- Optimise existing automations for speed, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business teams to understand automation requirements.
- Participate in testing, debugging, and continuous improvement of automation solutions.

Required Skills
- Basic hands-on experience (internship, academic projects, or personal projects) with n8n .
- Understanding of workflow automation concepts.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON.
- Familiarity with webhooks and API integrations.
- Basic JavaScript or TypeScript knowledge.
- Understanding of HTTP methods and authentication (API Keys, OAuth, JWT).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Positive written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
- Knowledge of Python programming.
- Experience with Django framework.
- Understanding of software testing and debugging.
- Basic SQL and database concepts (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
- Git and GitHub version control.
- Docker fundamentals.
- Experience with AI tools and LLM integrations.
- Familiarity with ONDC, e-commerce platforms, or marketplace automation.
- Experience with Make.com, Zapier, or similar automation platforms.

Eligibility




- Final-year or pre-final-year B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech/ MCA students in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, AI & ML, Data Science, or related disciplines.
- Fresh graduates (within the last year) are also encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with a few months of practical experience in n8n automation through internships, freelance work, hackathons, or personal projects will be preferred.
