Role Description The Sp3d Modeller role is a full time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The Sp3d Modeller will create and update detailed 3D models of industrial plants, including equipment, piping, and structural elements, using specialized design software.

Responsibilities include interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, coordinating model interfaces with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring that models comply with project standards and client requirements. The role also involves performing clash detection,



preparing model-based deliverables such as isometrics and layouts, and supporting design reviews throughout the project lifecycle. The Sp3d Modeller will collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to maintain model accuracy, support design changes, and contribute to efficient project execution.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in 3D plant modeling tools (e.g., SmartPlant 3D/Sp3d, PDMS/E3D, or similar) and familiarity with piping and structural modeling workflows.

Ability to interpret engineering documents such as P&IDs;, equipment layouts, piping GA drawings, and structural drawings.

Experience in industrial sectors such as Oil & Gas, Power, Infrastructure, or large-scale industrial facilities, with understanding of relevant codes and standards.

Solid skills in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, handling model revisions, and performing clash detection and model quality checks.

Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in a fast-paced project environment in Hyderabad.

Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related engineering discipline; prior experience as a Sp3d/3D Modeller in engineering or EPC projects is highly beneficial.

Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and willingness to learn new digital tools and workflows in BIM and plant design.
