- Machine Setup: Secure raw materials, align workpieces, and install proper cutting tools and fixtures.

- Blueprint Interpretation: Read technical drawings, CAD designs, and work orders to determine correct dimensions and sequences.

- Operation & Monitoring: Adjust feed rates, cutting speeds, and controls while observing the machine to spot errors or wear.

- Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using precision tools like micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify correct tolerances.

- Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine equipment lubrication and cleaning, replace worn tools, and wear required safety gear.
