About the Role

We are looking for proactive and detail-oriented Apparel Merchandisers/Sr. Merchandisers to manage the complete merchandising cyclefrom product development to order execution. The ideal candidate should possess strong coordination skills, a good understanding of garment manufacturing, and the ability to work closely with buyers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Coordinate with buyers, vendors, and production teams throughout the order lifecycle.
- Manage product development, sampling, costing, and order confirmations.
- Prepare and monitor Time & Action (T&A;) calendars to ensure timely execution.
- Follow up on fabric, trims, sampling, approvals, and production schedules.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and commercial terms with suppliers.
- Ensure product quality standards are maintained at every production stage.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Production teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Monitor inventory requirements and material availability.
- Track order status and provide regular updates to buyers and management.
- Ensure compliance with buyer specifications, quality standards, and documentation requirements.
- Work closely with logistics teams to facilitate timely shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, approvals, and communication.
- Analyse production performance and identify opportunities for process improvements.





Preferred Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Fashion Technology, Apparel Production, or a related field.
- 2-20 years of experience in apparel merchandising (domestic or export).
- Strong understanding of garment manufacturing processes and merchandising workflows.
- Knowledge of fabrics, trims, garment construction, and costing.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
- High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
