Lead Merchandiser — Buying, Sourcing & Inventory Planning ? Ahmedabad (Work from Office | Relocation Mandatory) ? 8+ Years Experience ? CTC: ₹8 – 10 LPA ✈️ Frequent domestic & international travel (China + other sourcing markets) We're hiring a Lead Merchandiser to own buying, sourcing, and inventory planning end-to-end. Eyewear industry background and China retail buying exposure strongly preferred. What you'll own:

Full P&L; for merchandise categories — margin, inventory turns, profitability

Budgeting for consistent replenishment of core inventory

Sampling, logistics, and cost management for new product and collab launches

Identifying and onboarding the best-fit factories and vendors

Maintaining a sustainable, competitive COGS

Inventory planning to avoid stockouts and overstock

International sourcing trips to China and other markets for negotiations, factory visits, and quality checks

Cross-functional coordination with design, production, logistics, and finance

What we're looking for





8+ years in merchandising, buying, or sourcing (retail/fashion/eyewear)

Eyewear industry experience strongly preferred

Retail buying experience with direct China sourcing exposure preferred

Strong grip on P&L; management, budgeting, and COGS optimization

Proven track record building factory partnerships and managing sourcing logistics

Must be willing to relocate to Ahmedabad and work from office full time

Comfortable with frequent domestic and international travel
