Role Description This is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a MEP Procurement Sr. Engineer/Manager. The role involves leading end-to-end procurement activities for MEP packages, including preparing and issuing Requests for Quotation (RFQs), evaluating vendor proposals, and finalizing techno-commercial comparisons.

The professional will be responsible for negotiating terms, preparing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment as per project requirements. Day-to-day tasks include close coordination with project, design, and site teams to align procurement with project schedules, monitoring vendor performance,



maintaining procurement documentation, and supporting cost optimization initiatives. The role also includes contributing to supplier development, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Qualifications

Strong procurement and vendor management capabilities, including Supplier Evaluation and handling Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes.

Experience in purchase administration, including drafting, reviewing, and managing Purchase Orders and related documentation.

Well-developed Analytical Skills for cost analysis, techno-commercial evaluation, and data-driven decision-making.

Effective Communication skills for internal coordination and external negotiation with suppliers and stakeholders.

Formal education in engineering (preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or related MEP disciplines); a postgraduate qualification in supply chain or management is an advantage.

Proven experience in MEP procurement for large commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.

Familiarity with ERP or procurement software systems and standard contracting practices.

Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced project environment, with strong attention to detail and adherence to quality and safety standards.
