The Role

As a Founding Member and Engineering Leader, you will play a pivotal role in building OXMIQ's engineering organization from the ground up — defining the technical vision, establishing engineering culture, and building high-performing teams responsible for delivering a world-class cloud platform and cloud-native services. You will provide strategic and technical leadership across Cloud Platform Engineering, Cloud Services Development, Validation & Quality Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Customer Support Engineering, ensuring these organizations operate as an integrated function that consistently delivers secure, scalable, reliable, and customer-centric solutions. This is a highly cross-functional leadership role requiring strong technical depth, organizational leadership, and execution excellence, partnering with Product Management, Architecture, Security, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership to translate business strategy into engineering outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Define and execute the engineering strategy across cloud platform, cloud services, validation, reliability engineering, and customer support organizations. Build and scale high-performing engineering teams by attracting, mentoring, and developing engineering leaders and technical talent. Establish engineering processes, governance models, and operational practices that enable predictable, high-quality software delivery.

Lead the architecture, development, and delivery of cloud-native services and distributed platforms supporting enterprise-scale customers. Drive engineering execution across the full software development lifecycle, from product planning and architecture through validation, deployment, operations, and customer support. Partner with architects and engineering leaders to define technology roadmaps, platform evolution strategies,



and long-term architectural direction.

Establish modern validation practices, including test automation, CI, performance testing, security testing, and release quality engineering. Champion SRE principles, driving operational excellence, service reliability, observability, incident management, disaster recovery, and continuous service improvement. Build customer support engineering capabilities that rapidly resolve complex production issues and feed operational learnings back into engineering.

Drive engineering productivity through automation, AI-assisted engineering, developer platforms, and modern DevOps practices. Establish engineering metrics and operational KPIs to continuously improve quality, delivery velocity, customer satisfaction, and platform reliability. Collaborate with executive leadership to align engineering investments with business priorities, customer needs, and company growth objectives.

Required Qualifications Proven experience building and leading large engineering organizations responsible for cloud platforms and cloud-native software products, across environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or hybrid cloud. Extensive experience delivering enterprise-scale distributed systems and cloud services from concept through production operations, using Kubernetes, containers, microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures. Demonstrated success leading multiple engineering functions, including software development, platform engineering, validation, SRE, and production support.

Experience establishing engineering governance, organizational processes, delivery frameworks, and operational excellence at scale. Strong understanding of software quality engineering, validation strategies, test automation, release management, and production readiness. Deep knowledge of SRE, observability, incident response, service operations, and production support models.





Experience building customer-focused engineering organizations that prioritize operational excellence and customer success. Strong business acumen, balancing technical innovation, engineering investment, execution speed, quality, and customer outcomes. Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational development skills. Proven ability to build engineering culture, mentor engineering leaders, and scale organizations during periods of rapid growth.

Preferred Qualifications 15+ years experience in the software industry and experience in leading teams as engineering leader in a rapidly growing organizations.

Experience building enterprise SaaS, Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), or cloud infrastructure products. Strong knowledge of cloud security, regulatory compliance, and enterprise governance frameworks.

Experience implementing platform engineering, internal developer platforms, and engineering enablement initiatives.

Experience leading globally distributed engineering organizations. Strong understanding of AI-assisted software engineering, developer productivity platforms, and intelligent automation. Active participation in cloud-native communities, industry standards, or open-source initiatives.

Education BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.

Working Environment

This is a cross-functional leadership role reporting into Executive Leadership, partnering closely with Product Management, Architecture, Security, and Customer Success to build and scale OXMIQ's engineering organization. AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code or equivalent) are a standard part of engineering practice at OXMIQ and are expected in daily work.
