Radiology Coding

- Review physician documentation, radiology reports, and medical records for accurate coding.

- Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers for radiology services.

- Ensure compliance with coding guidelines, payer policies, and regulatory requirements.

- Identify documentation gaps and communicate with providers when clarification is required.

- Maintain coding accuracy and productivity standards.

Denial Management

- Review and analyze denied claims to determine root causes.

- Resolve coding-related denials, medical necessity denials, bundling issues, and modifier-related denials.

- Prepare and submit appeals with supporting documentation.

- Work closely with billing, AR, and provider teams to reduce denial rates.

- Monitor denial trends and recommend process improvements.

- Track appeal outcomes and maintain denial management reports.
