Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Medical Coder to join our Home Health team. The ideal candidate should have at least 1-5 years of experience in medical coding for home health services.

Job Responsibilities:

- Review and assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for Home Health services.
- Ensure accurate OASIS documentation and coding compliance with CMS guidelines.
- Verify medical records and physician documentation for completeness.
- Identify and correct coding errors before claim submission.
- Stay updated with Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer-specific regulations.
- Work with healthcare teams to improve coding accuracy and reimbursement rates.

Key Requirements:

- Certification: CPC, CCS, or HCS-D (Preferred).
- Experience: 1+ years in Home Health Coding.
- Solid knowledge of PDGM (Patient-Driven Groupings Model).
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems like Homecare Homebase, Epic, etc.
- Attention to detail and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
