Role Description The Medical Billing Quality Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Kerala, India. This role involves reviewing and auditing medical billing records to ensure accuracy, compliance with coding standards, and adherence to payer requirements.

The analyst will monitor claim submissions, identify trends in denials, and recommend corrective actions to reduce errors and improve reimbursement rates. Daily tasks include validating the correct use of medical terminology and ICD-10 codes, verifying insurance and Medicare details, and collaborating with billing teams to resolve discrepancies. The role also requires preparing quality reports,



supporting training initiatives, and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of Medical Terminology and clinical documentation used in healthcare billing.
- Hands-on experience with ICD-10 coding and related coding guidelines for accurate claim processing.
- Knowledge of Insurance processes, payer policies, and reimbursement procedures.
- Experience managing and analyzing Denials, with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Familiarity with Medicare rules, regulations, and coverage criteria.
- Attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret complex billing data.
- Proficiency with medical billing software and MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in medical billing, revenue cycle management, or healthcare quality assurance is preferred.
- Relevant diploma or degree in healthcare administration, life sciences, or a related field is beneficial.
