Role Description The Medical Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role involves providing scientific and medical support for assigned products and therapeutic areas, including reviewing and developing medical content for internal teams and external stakeholders.

The Medical

Advisor will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Medical Affairs, Marketing, Regulatory, and Market Access to ensure evidence-based communication and alignment with clinical practice. Daily responsibilities include reviewing clinical data, supporting medical education initiatives, responding to medical information requests, and contributing to the design and interpretation of research and real-world evidence projects.



The role also includes advising on clinical positioning for products, supporting training for field teams, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant guidelines and scientific literature.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Medicine, with the ability to interpret clinical data and apply it to therapeutic strategies.

Experience in Medical Affairs, including scientific communication, medical information support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Background in Medical Education, with skills in developing and delivering training materials and scientific presentations.

Research skills, including literature review, critical appraisal of studies, and support for clinical or observational research initiatives.

Understanding of Market Access, including clinical value communication, health economics concepts, and payer-focused evidence needs.

Relevant medical degree (e.g., MBBS, MD, or equivalent) with specialization in a clinical discipline preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific information clearly and ethically.

Robust analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and detail-oriented working style.

Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or life-sciences industry is an advantage.
