Role: Media Planning Manager Experience: 6–8 Years Location: Bangalore Department: Integrated Media Planning + client servicing Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Media Planning qualified with 6–8 years of experience in media planning, consumer insights, and strategic presentation development. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in media research tools, audience analytics, competitive benchmarking, and end-to-end media planning across traditional and digital platforms. This role requires someone who can convert data into actionable media strategies, build compelling client-ready presentations, manage day-to-day client interactions, and develop effective communication plans aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities: Media Strategy & Planning - Develop integrated media strategies aligned with client/business objectives.

- Create annual, quarterly, and campaign-specific media plans across platforms.
- Build channel allocation strategies based on target audience, category behaviour, and budget.
- Evaluate media performance and optimise planning recommendations. Research, Insights & Analytics
- Use media and consumer research tools to derive audience insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence.
- Analyse category performance, media consumption habits, and audience behavior.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and campaign analysis. Tools & Platforms Hands-on working knowledge of:
- BARC – TV viewership analysis, channel/program insights (Must)
- GWI (Global Web Index) – consumer behaviour and audience profiling; TAM AdEx – competitive advertising spends and media intelligence (Must); IRS / Comscore / SimilarWeb / YouGov (preferred)




- Digital platform analytics (Google/Meta reporting understanding preferred) Client Presentations & Communication - Build impactful strategic presentations and recommendation decks.
- Convert data, research, and analysis into clear storytelling for internal and client discussions.
- Present strategy rationale, audience insights, and media recommendations confidently.

Stakeholder

Management - Work closely with leadership on strategic planning assignments.

- Ensure timely delivery of planning outputs and strategic recommendations.

Client Servicing

- Act as a key point of contact for clients for ongoing planning and strategy discussions.
- Manage day-to-day client communication, briefing, expectation management, and timely delivery of outputs.
- Understand client business objectives and proactively identify growth opportunities.
- Present media strategies, campaign recommendations, performance updates, and strategic rationale confidently to clients.
- Build strong client relationships and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Desired Candidate

Profile - 6–8 years of experience in media planning/media strategy / integrated planning

- Strong understanding of TV, print, radio, digital, and consumer media; command over PowerPoint/presentation development
- Experience in building media rationale, audience segmentation, and communication strategy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
