Role Description This is an on-site Mechanical Engineer internship role based in Bengaluru. The intern will support the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies for MEMS-based devices, including concept generation, detailed design, and documentation.

Day-to-day tasks include creating and updating CAD models and drawings, assisting in prototype build and testing, and contributing to design reviews. The role involves working closely with senior engineers on research and development activities,



analyzing test data, and implementing design improvements. The intern will also assist with basic project coordination, maintaining technical records, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong fundamentals in Mechanical Engineering and an interest in MEMS or precision engineering.
- Candidates should possess skills in Machine Design and an understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling and engineering drawings.
- Candidates should possess abilities in Research and Development (R&D;), including experimental work, data analysis, and problem-solving.
- Candidates should possess basic Project Management skills such as task planning, time management, and documentation.
- Relevant qualifications include pursuing or having completed a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Additional beneficial skills include familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA), tolerance analysis, and laboratory testing methods.
- Effective communication, teamwork, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced technology setting are expected.
