About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Draughtsman (Static Equipment) to join our engineering team. The role involves preparing detailed fabrication and mechanical drawings for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, columns, and other static equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in heat exchanger detailing, proficiency in AutoCAD,



and hands-on experience with international engineering codes and fabrication standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare fabrication, layout, GA, and detailed manufacturing drawings along with Bills of Materials (BOM) as per project specifications and industry standards.

· Develop detailed 2D engineering drawings for static equipment based on design inputs.

· Interpret technical specifications, datasheets, and P&IDs; to ensure accurate drafting outputs.

· Prepare and update AS-BUILT drawings based on revisions and client comments.

· Ensure drawings comply with ASME, API, IS, and related standards.

· Prepare plate cutting layouts and detailed component drawings with BOM updates.

· Perform component-wise material and weight calculations.

· Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams for drawing approvals and execution.

Required Skills:

· Solid proficiency in AutoCAD (2D mandatory; 3D knowledge preferred).

· Good knowledge of pressure vessels and static equipment drafting.

· Familiarity with ASME Section VIII, TEMA, API, and ISO/ASME dimensioning standards.

· Understanding of fabrication processes, welding details, material selection, and GD&T.;

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, datasheets, and P&IDs.;

· Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and meet deadlines.

· Good communication and teamwork skills.
