- Mechanical Design Engineering:
- Design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies for low voltage electrical apparatus in alignment with project requirements and manufacturing constraints.
- CAD Expertise:
- Utilize design tools such as Pro-Engineer (Creo 2.0), AutoCAD 2D, and AutoCAD Revit for detailed modeling and drafting of components and layouts.
- Technical Documentation:
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive manufacturing and layout drawings, ensuring clarity and compliance with internal and customer standards.
- Engineering Standards:
- Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T;), fits and tolerances knowledge to ensure manufacturability and product performance.
- Manufacturing Support:
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to provide support and resolve design-related issues during production phases.
- Project Coordination:
- Contribute effectively as an individual contributor while coordinating with cross-functional teams locally and globally.
- Travel Readiness:
- Open to travel across India and internationally as project needs dictate.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design of sheet metal components.
- Familiarity with low voltage electrical apparatus and related mechanical design aspects.
- Proficiency in Creo 2.0, AutoCAD 2D, and optionally Revit.
- Solid understanding of GD&T;, fits, and tolerances.
- Robust problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
