NExperience

n- 5+ years of relevant experience in energy modelling, optimization or quantitative analysis within the power sector.

NTechnical Skills

n- Proven expertise in energy system, using quantitative and computational methods.

N- Hands-on experience in the modelling, development and deployment of models.

N- Strong proficiency in Python for model development, data analysis and automation with the ability to translate technical and business requirements into clean, efficient and maintainable code.

N- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research and learn current techniques.

N- Experience working withlarge time-series datasets (prices, load, weather, generation, dispatch).

NGood to Have Skills

n- Exposure to machine learning or data-driven methods applied to forecasting or energy system operations is a plus.

N- Relevant publications in reputed journals.

N- Experience in formulating and solving optimization problems, including:

N- Linear and Mixed-Integer Linear Programming (LP / MILP)

N- Stochastic optimizationand simulation

NTools/software - PLEXOS, PyPSA
