We are seeking a energetic and detail-oriented Manufacturing Planner to join our team at the JSW UAV plant in Hyderabad. The role is an individual contributor position, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production planning and seamless execution. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing planning, preferably within the aerospace industry, and possess a strong understanding of production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage production schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective manufacturing of UAV components.
- Coordinate with production teams, procurement, and logistics to ensure availability of resources and materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid production delays.
- Identify potential production bottlenecks and work proactively to resolve issues.
- Analyze and optimize production processes for improved efficiency and reduced lead times.
- Support the engineering team with planning for new product developments and modifications.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements in the manufacturing process.
- Prepare and maintain detailed production reports and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with the junior manufacturing planner to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or B.Tech (Preferred in Aerospace, Mechanical, or related fields).
- 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing planning, preferably within the aerospace or UAV industry.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, planning techniques, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in production planning software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
