We are currently looking for an experienced Mandarin Tutor to teach a Grade 10 IB (MYP) student through one-to-one online sessions.

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Mandarin tutor who can help students develop strong skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing while following the IB MYP curriculum.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a structured teaching approach, and experience teaching IB students.

Responsibilities

- Teach Mandarin to a Grade 10 IB (MYP) student through one-to-one online classes.
- Develop the student's speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Prepare students for school assessments, assignments, and examinations.
- Create engaging and interactive lessons tailored to the student's learning needs.
- Provide regular feedback and monitor student progress.
- Build the student's confidence and fluency in Mandarin.





Requirements Must Have

- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (native or near-native preferred).
- Experience teaching IB MYP Mandarin (Grade 10).
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Prior online teaching experience.
- Strong understanding of the IB teaching approach.
- Stable internet connection, laptop/desktop, webcam, headset, and a quiet teaching workplace.

Preferred

- Teaching certification in Mandarin Chinese.
- Experience preparing students for IB assessments.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive online lessons using digital teaching tools.
