Tourism Iceland UK is hiring an India-based CEO / Managing Director.

Tourism Iceland UK is a new international tourism project focused on selling Iceland travel packages to the UK market.

We are looking for a senior tourism professional who can build the business from the ground up.

This is not an existing team-management role. The selected person will be responsible for creating the team, systems, reporting structure, and daily operations.

Key responsibilities

- Build and manage the India-based team
- Recruit staff for sales, operations, marketing, and customer service
- Develop operational systems, KPIs, and reporting
- Manage international tourism sales and supplier coordination
- Support growth in the UK travel market
- Report directly to the company owner
- Take full responsibility for business performance

Candidate requirements

- Senior management experience in tourism or travel
- Experience working with foreign tourism companies or international customers
- Strong knowledge of team building, sales,



and operations
- Proven leadership and commercial decision-making skills
- Excellent English communication
- Ability to work independently and deliver measurable results

Work arrangement

Location: India

Position: Initially part time, moving to full-time

Workplace: Shared office or professional coworking space

Work from home: Not permitted

Salary: Strong and competitive for the right candidate

We are looking for a CEO-level operator, not a consultant or reporting-only manager. The person must be hands-on, capable of building a team, and able to take ownership of the project.
