Job DescriptionAs Manager / Senior Manager - Product & Business Development, the incumbent will independently manage end-to-end processes for Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) and Portfolio Management Services (PMS). The role focuses on promoting products, securing key accounts to maximize profit, and managing critical functions including performance reporting, due diligence, and recent product launches.

NKey Responsibilities:

- Own product charters end-to-end for Carnelian — which includes product notes, due diligence, and monthly/quarterly reporting, performance reports, culminating in the execution and launch of new investment products

- Develop key accounts, driving business growth and distribution excellence across the sales network so as to best promote Carnelian's offerings.

- Build and nurture distributor and manufacturer relationships, negotiating optimal pricing while spotting emerging investment opportunities early

- Lead Investment Committee Meetings, presenting key findings, and drive product training for sales channels & sub-brokers

- Be the go-to product expert for the sales team — daily support, query resolution, and market/strategic insights that mobilize business

- Ensure regulatory compliance across all activities, coordinating with Legal on AMC/vendor agreements and owning client communication on regulatory or product updates

nRequired Skills & Qualifications:

- 4+ years of proven ability to drive product promotion and secure key institutional or HNI accounts.

- Having a CFA or a CA degree is an advantage
N
- Strong understanding ofAIF, PMS & MF products and their related processes.

- Prior experience in product development, high-impact launches, and professional training.

- Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and cross-functional communication skills.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage complex data for informed decision-making.

- Familiarity with compliance requirements within the asset management industry.
