Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech or above in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy

Experience

15–20 Years

Experience in Forging & Machining industry preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Quality Assurance & Quality Control function.

Ensure product quality throughout incoming inspection,



forging, heat treatment, machining, and final inspection.

Develop and maintain robust QA/QC systems aligned with ISO 9001 and customer requirements.

Handle internal and external quality audits and coordinate with certification bodies.

Establish process controls to ensure consistent product quality.

Ensure compliance with customer specifications and regulatory requirements.

Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives across manufacturing.

Monitor quality performance and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Support production teams in resolving quality issues.

Maintain quality documentation and ensure adherence to industry standards.

Preferred Profile

Strong knowledge of PPAP, APQP & GD&T.;

Certified NDT Level II (MPI/UT) preferred.

Hands-on experience in forging, heat treatment, machining, and metallurgical processes.

Exposure to heavy engineering or railway manufacturing will be an added advantage.
