Position: Manager / Senior Manager - Fund Management

Location: GIFT City

Remuneration: Commensurate with qualifications and experience (in the pay-scale of Rs.53,100-1,67,000 for Sr. Manager post and Rs.44,900-1,42,400 for Manager post)

Position type on contract for a period 3 years from the date of joining, extendable based on organisation needs and candidates performance.

Role Objective The Manager / Sr. Manager -Fund Management will drive business development, ecosystem engagement, and strategic outreach within the Fund Management domain. The role requires solid understanding of investment funds, asset management, alternative investment structures, capital markets, and international financial services.

The position is responsible for attracting domestic and international fund managers, asset management companies, family offices, private equity and venture capital funds, hedge funds, institutional investors, and related ecosystem participants to GIFT City while supporting relationship management, market expansion, and policy coordination initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive business development initiatives within the Fund Management segment.
- Identify and onboard domestic and international fund managers, asset management companies, AIFs, family offices, PE/VC funds, hedge funds, institutional investors, and related ecosystem participants.
- Build and maintain a structured pipeline of prospective institutions across domestic and global markets.
- Engage with fund managers, investment professionals, financial institutions, and regulatory stakeholders across Asia, Europe, US & MEA regions.
- Promote GIFT City as a preferred destination for fund management, asset management, and international investment activities.




- Support business expansion initiatives relating to investment funds, portfolio management, alternative investments, wealth management, and cross-border investment structures.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities and internal departments for seamless onboarding and operational facilitation of clients.
- Develop sectoral insights and market intelligence on fund management, investment trends, global capital flows, and financial services developments.
- Support fund management and investment-related conferences, roadshows, investor interactions, and industry forums.
- Assist in policy advocacy and stakeholder consultations for strengthening the Fund Management ecosystem in GIFT City.
- Responsible for achieving KPIs for the cluster growth across number of wins, AUM, FTEs, etc.

Experience required

- 7+ years of experience in Fund Management, Asset Management, Investment Banking, Financial Services, Capital Markets, or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of investment funds, asset management operations, capital markets, portfolio management, and alternative investment ecosystems.
- Experience in Business Development / Relationship Management / Market Development roles.
- Exposure to international fund management or offshore financial services ecosystems will be preferred.
- Understanding of cross-border investment structures, global capital flows, and regulatory frameworks is an advantage.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship management skills.

Qualification required

- Postgraduate in Finance, Economics, Management, Commerce, or related disciplines preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CA, CFA, FRM, Treasury Certifications, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
