Role Description The Manager – Proposal role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru South. The individual will lead the preparation, coordination, and submission of technical and commercial proposals for water and wastewater treatment projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements and organizational standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing tender documents, defining proposal strategies, coordinating inputs from engineering, procurement, and project teams, and preparing accurate costing and pricing structures.

The role involves drafting clear and persuasive proposal documentation, managing timelines, updating proposal templates and databases, and supporting negotiations by providing detailed proposal clarifications.



The Manager – Proposal will also track market trends, maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients, and contribute to continuous improvement of proposal processes and tools. Qualifications

Strong proposal management skills, including tender evaluation, bid strategy, and end-to-end proposal coordination for engineering or environmental projects.

Proficiency in technical documentation, including preparation of technical write-ups, solution descriptions, and compliance statements for water and wastewater treatment systems.

Capability in commercial analysis, cost estimation, pricing, and margin management, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and engage with clients in a clear, professional manner.

Experience in the environment, water treatment, or related engineering sectors, with knowledge of relevant standards, regulations, and best practices.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, environmental, mechanical, civil) or a related technical field; a master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.

Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple proposals and deadlines simultaneously.

Proficiency in MS Office and relevant proposal or project management tools;

experience with ERP or CRM systems is beneficial.

Demonstrated ability to analyze client needs, develop tailored solutions, and contribute to business growth through high-quality proposals.
