- Analyse market trends and vendor sourcing & development.
- Develop, Lead, implement procurement strategies and budget.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers & Price negotiation with suppliers fostering competition and potentially leading to better pricing.
- Renegotiate payment terms, lead times, or service level agreements with current vendors for cost reduction.
- Implement robust supplier management practices, including performance monitoring and risk management.
- Oversee and manage the procurement staff; hire, train, and evaluate team members.
- Ensure ethical procurement practices and adherence to corporate and legal regulations.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure products meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
Required Candidate Profile
- Postgraduate / Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement or purchasing in houseware industry
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Preferable Experience with ERP systems
- Immediate Joiner Preferable.
