Position

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Nightly Editor to join our editorial team. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of deliverables before submission. The ideal candidate is a meticulous copyeditor with a solid command of grammar and style, exceptional fact-checking skills, and experience reviewing pharmaceutical marketing materials in a fast-paced agency environment.

This position requires availability Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM ET, with occasional flexibility to accommodate changing business needs and project deadlines. Key Responsibilities

Copyedit marketing materials to ensure accuracy in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax

Maintain consistency in formatting, messaging, and editorial standards across all brand materials

Review projects for adherence to client-specific editorial standards and established style guides

Fact-check claims, references, citations, and supporting content to ensure accuracy and compliance

Collaborate closely with copywriters, account teams, project managers,



and fellow editors to meet deadlines

Monitor project timelines and editorial review cycles, proactively identifying potential issues and communicating solutions

Assess project priorities and deadlines to determine the appropriate prioritization of multiple projects

Provide support during periods of increased workload Qualifications

Required

- Bachelor's degree in English or a related field
- Experience editing pharmaceutical marketing or healthcare communications
- Expert knowledge of the AMA Manual of Style and its application
- Exceptional grammar, spelling, punctuation, and proofreading skills
- Strong fact-checking and analytical abilities
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
- Willingness to work 2:00 PM–10:00 PM ET, with flexibility as business needs require

Preferred

Experience using Ziflow or other online proofing and review platforms

Agency experience supporting pharmaceutical or healthcare clients

Launch experience

Familiarity with FDA promotional regulations and medical/legal/regulatory (MLR) review processes About Havas India
