Role Description The Manager – Creative Development is a full-time, in office role based out of Kochi & Mumbai. We are seeking an experienced creative development resource with 5 plus years of experience in film development. He/She must have developed 3-4 movie projects of theatrical release in Malayalam or Hindi language. He/she will operate primarily from our office at Kochi and Mumbai and must be willing to shuttle between the locations on a need basis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate scripts, story concepts, treatments, and pitches, providing constructive creative feedback.
- Collaborate with writers, directors, and producers to strengthen narrative structure, character arcs, and overall storytelling.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh, commercially viable, and audience-focused ideas.
- Ensure creative consistency throughout pre-production, production, and post-production.




- Attend shoots to provide creative oversight, resolve on-set creative challenges, and ensure alignment with the project’s vision.
- Work closely with production teams to balance creative ambition with practical execution.
- Research industry trends, audience preferences, and emerging content to inform creative decisions.
- Support pitch presentations, look books, mood boards, and creative decks for internal and external stakeholders.

Job Specification

- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, Advertising, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Malayam, Hindi and English, with strong presentation and storytelling abilities.
- Minimum 5 plus years of experience in creative development within a film production house, studio, OTT platform or related media organization.
- Proven experience in Creative Development with a strong portfolio of scripted content.
- Must have experience and understanding of on-set workflows at shooting.
- Strong understanding of screenplay structure, visual storytelling, and cinematic language.
- Good communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to multi-task on multiple projects in a fast-paced production environment.
- Must have passion for cinema and storytelling, with a keen understanding of audience engagement.
