Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Maintenance of Equipment: Oversee the maintenance and repair of shop equipment such as conveyors, belts, motors, DC tools, presses, filtration systems, test beds, dispensary units, and cleaning machines.
Ensure all equipment operates efficiently with minimal downtime.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.
PLC Knowledge: Utilize knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) from Mitsubishi and Siemens for troubleshooting and programming.
Perform diagnostics and ensure smooth operation of automated systems.
Collaborate with automation experts to optimize PLC-based systems.
Project Management: Work on projects related to installation, modification, and optimization of shop equipment.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement and installation of current machinery or upgrades.
Ensure timely completion of maintenance projects within budget.
Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead a team of maintenance technicians and allocate tasks effectively.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure seamless operations.
Provide technical guidance to the team and train them on equipment handling and maintenance procedures.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company standards.
Promote a safe working environment and enforce safety protocols.
Address any hazards or risks associated with equipment promptly.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and equipment downtime. Prepare reports for management on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and improvement plans.Preferred Industries
