Position: Maintenance Head

Location: Silvassa

Experience: 15 - 20 Years

Responsibilities:

- Plan, execute, and monitor preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for all production and utility equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot machinery used in Marble and Quartz production, including:
- o Gang Saw Machines (for marble block cutting)
- o Wire Saw Machines (for block dressing and cutting)
- o Keda Polishing Line
- o Linto Polishing Line
- o Veegoo Resin Line and Dryer System
- o Bridge Cutters, Edge Cutters, Calibration Machines, and CNC Profiling Machines
- o Compressors, EOT Cranes, Hydraulic Systems, and Water Treatment Units
- Supervise a team of mechanical and electrical technicians to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Analyze root causes of breakdowns and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Ensure minimum downtime and maximum efficiency of all process lines.
- Manage maintenance spares inventory and procurement planning to avoid production delays.
- Coordinate with OEMs and service engineers (Linto, Keda, Veegoo, etc.) for machine troubleshooting, upgrades, and AMC.
- Prepare and maintain maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and machine history records.
- Plan and execute annual shutdown maintenance and installation of new machinery.




- Implement safety and compliance standards as per company and statutory norms.
- Support process improvement, cost reduction, and energy-saving initiatives.
- Ensure coordination with production, quality, and utility teams for seamless plant operation.

Technical Skills:

- Expertise in Gang Saw, Wire Saw, Linto, Keda, and Veegoo machines.
- Solid knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with PLC automation and CNC machine maintenance.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and preventive maintenance planning.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical assemblies, drives, motors, gearboxes, and control panels.
- Knowledge of spare parts management and vendor coordination.
- Understanding of equipment safety norms, lubrication, and predictive maintenance tools.
