Role Description The Machine Shop Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Rajkot. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day machine shop operations, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet delivery timelines.

The Machine Shop

Manager will supervise machining activities, ensure adherence to quality standards, and coordinate inspection processes to maintain product accuracy and reliability. The role involves managing shop personnel, optimizing workflows, maintaining equipment, and enforcing safety and compliance standards.



The manager will also collaborate with leadership and customers to address production issues, support continuous improvement initiatives, and achieve cost-effective, high-quality output.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Production Planning and Production Management.

Candidates should possess hands-on expertise in Machining and machine shop operations.

Candidates should possess capabilities in Quality Management and Inspection.

Experience leading manufacturing or machine shop teams, with demonstrated people-management skills.

Knowledge of CNC and conventional machining processes, tooling, and maintenance practices.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing, process improvement, and workplace safety standards.

Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
