Your Tasks

- Enhance and expand the existing Linux workplace on Ubuntu to meet evolving user and company needs
- Design, develop, and configure recent features for Linux client instances to address business or IT security requirements
- Ensure function, stability, and reliability of the Linux workplace on various hardware types and virtual machines through quality assurance and testing
- Provide expert 2nd level Linux support for workplace users, leveraging existing IT service management processes
- Analyze and resolve integration issues with company infrastructure
- Oversee maintenance of Linux workplace-specific infrastructure servers and software repositories

Your Qualifications

- Linux Passion: Deep enthusiasm for Linux as a mindset and essential tool, with a love for working on the command line
- Advanced Linux Packaging and Administration: Proven expertise in packaging and administering GNU/Linux and Debian-based distributions, focusing on Ubuntu




- Software Development and Scripting: Experience in software development and scripting with strong skills in Bash, Python, and GNU utilities
- Efficient Linux Software Development: Skilled in managing Linux software development processes and GIT-based CI/CD pipelines for smooth workflows
- Linux Configuration Management: Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Salt-Stack, Ansible, or Puppet
- Modern Linux Environments: Familiarity with desktop virtualization and Linux container runtime environments like VMWare, Oracle VirtualBox, Hyper-V, WSL2, Docker, and Podman
- Analytical Skills: Excellent debugging and error analysis skills under Linux
- IT Service Management: Proven ability to deliver high-quality IT support and services
