The role involves working across 4,000+ local jurisdictions and managing renewals for multiple license types, including Business, Alcohol, Tobacco, Health, POS, Sales Tax, Fire, Alarms, Hazardous Materials, and others, within a high-volume, metrics-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the license renewal calendar generated by the license management system, ensuring all due dates are met.
- Verify license details, jurisdictional requirements, business information, revenue, and tax basis.
- Assemble and prepare required supporting documentation for renewals.
- Complete renewal applications and process payments within defined authorization limits.
- Track renewal statuses and manage communication with U.S. jurisdictions.
- Work directly with U.S. jurisdictions to resolve renewal issues and escalate to internal leaders as needed.
- Validate renewed licenses and accurately update the license management system database.
- Distribute renewed licenses and compliance documents to relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct peer reviews and ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate payment documentation to support SOX compliance requirements.
- Meet productivity, quality, turnaround time, and cycle-time metrics within a POD-based operating model.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent written English communication skills with strong email etiquette.
- High attention to detail with strong accuracy in data validation and processing.
- Ability to interpret complex regulatory and jurisdictional documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills using inference, references, and data-driven approaches.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume back-office environment.
- Solid organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within structured POD teams.
- Flexibility to manage peak renewal periods and tight timelines
