Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Legal Counsel role based in Bengaluru.

The Legal

Counsel will review, draft, and negotiate a variety of contracts and agreements related to land acquisition, residential plotted development, and vendor relationships. The role involves providing proactive legal advice to management and project teams on regulatory compliance, property laws, and risk mitigation, while addressing day-to-day legal issues that arise across projects.

Counsel will prepare and maintain accurate legal documentation, support due diligence for land holdings,



and liaise with external counsel and government authorities as required. In addition, this position will contribute to developing internal legal policies, ensuring alignment with company values and applicable laws.

Qualifications

Solid foundation in Law, with in-depth knowledge of real estate, property, and infrastructure regulations.

Proficiency in Contract Negotiation, including commercial agreements, land acquisition contracts, and vendor/service arrangements.

Experience in Legal Document Preparation, such as drafting deeds, MOUs, NDAs, and other project-related documentation.

Ability to identify, analyze, and manage Legal Issues relevant to residential plotted development and compliance with BDA/BMRDA guidelines.

Capability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); LL.M or specialization in real estate or corporate law is an advantage.

Prior experience as in-house counsel or with law firms handling real estate or infrastructure matters is preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and sound judgment.

Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, collaborate effectively with diverse teams, and manage multiple matters simultaneously.
