Job Title: Lead QA Engineer (Manual + Automation Testing)

Location: Remote with 1 visit to client office in Bangalore, during onboarding and 1 more (if required)

Experience Level: 6+ years

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in End-to-End Functional Testing and Test Automation. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in manual testing (70%)

complemented by automation testing (30%) using Playwright and Python. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications through comprehensive testing strategies and self-delivery as End-to-End Single Person QA on the Project.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, execute, and maintain end-to-end functional test scenarios across web applications.
- Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright and Python.
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports based on business requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing to ensure high-quality releases.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.




- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to resolve

issues and improve product quality.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvements in QA processes.

Mandatory Skills
- 6+ years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
- Strong expertise in End-to-End Functional Testing.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience designing and executing Regression, Integration, Smoke, and System Testing.
- Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), defect lifecycle, and Agile

methodologies.
- Experience with API Testing (Postman, REST APIs).

Valuable-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with SQL for backend validation.
- Exposure to performance or load testing tools is an advantage.

Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a

related field.
