About the Role:
As the Lead – Program Management, College Operations at Mumbai, you will play a pivotal role in driving end-to-end academic outcomes, student success, engagement, and operational excellence across one or more partner colleges. This role involves owning batch-wise performance, reducing failure rates, improving retention, and ensuring high program quality while managing strong institutional partnerships and leading high-performing on-ground teams. You will oversee academic delivery, student experience, trainer quality, and operational governance while collaborating cross-functionally to uphold excellence across partner college programs.
What You’ll Do:
â Academic Performance & Quality:
â Own academic performance across colleges and batches using assessments, results, and learning data.
â Identify performance gaps at the student, subject, trainer, or batch level and diagnose root causes.
â Design and execute corrective academic interventions, including remedial support, trainer enablement, and content reinforcement.
â Collaborate with academic and training teams to improve learning outcomes and reduce failure rates.
â Ensure consistent academic quality and adherence to program standards across partner colleges.
â Student Success, Engagement & Retention:
â Own attendance, engagement, retention, CSAT, NPS, and batch continuity metrics.
â Identify at-risk students or batches early and implement timely academic or engagement interventions.
â Drive a strong student experience through industry exposure, structured engagement initiatives, and community-building efforts.
â Foster student advocacy, referrals, and positive IIDE brand representation within partner colleges.
â Student Culture, Events & Brand Building:
â Lead end-to-end planning and execution of partner college fests and on-campus events, including concept creation, coordination, execution, and IIDE brand integration.
â Build a strong on-campus student culture through academic, cultural, and community-led initiatives.
â Plan and execute competitions, showcases, industry meets, and student-led activities.
â Encourage students to build personal brands through content, projects, competitions, and industry visibility.
â Ensure seamless execution of engagement and brand initiatives through on-ground teams.
â Faculty & Trainer Excellence:
â Source, onboard, and manage industry trainers aligned with program and college requirements.
â Evaluate trainer effectiveness through feedback, classroom observations, and academic outcomes.
â Maintain a scalable and reliable trainer pool to ensure continuity and academic quality.
â Plan and execute industry-led masterclasses and super sessions to enhance student learning and networking.
â College Partnership & Growth Enablement:
â Own end-to-end performance of assigned partner college relationships.
â Lead strategic discussions with college leadership on academic outcomes, engagement, and partnership growth opportunities.
â Support admissions growth through institutional initiatives, student advocacy, and collaboration with central teams.
â Act as the primary on-ground owner for partner college relationships.
â Team Leadership & Governance:
â Build, hire, onboard, and manage high-performing on-ground teams across partner colleges.
â Own workforce planning, deployment, and role clarity aligned with college and batch requirements.
â Define clear KPIs, execution standards, and accountability frameworks for teams.
â Drive regular performance reviews, coaching, feedback, and capability-building initiatives.
â Address performance gaps through training, role realignment, or performance management interventions.
â Establish and enforce SOPs and governance mechanisms to ensure consistent execution at scale.
â Data Ownership & Operational Excellence:
â Own the creation, maintenance, tracking, and analysis of academic, student, and operational data, including attendance, assessments, assignments, results, and batch records.
â Leverage data insights to drive reviews, identify trends, and implement corrective actions across academics, engagement, and operations.
â Additional Duties:
â Collaborate with internal academic, training, admissions,
and operations teams to ensure smooth execution and program success.
â Drive continuous process improvements to enhance student outcomes and operational effectiveness.
â Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by management, aligned with the broad scope of the position.
Who You Are:
â Must-Have:
â 5–10 years of experience owning academic operations, student success, or education programs with measurable outcome responsibility.
â Proven experience managing multi-college, multi-batch, or large-scale education programs end-to-end.
â Demonstrated impact in improving academic outcomes, including pass rates, failure reduction, retention, and batch performance.
â Experience hiring, scaling, and managing on-ground teams with accountability for team performance.
â Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence college leadership, trainers, and internal teams.
â Data-driven mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
â Comfortable balancing hands-on execution with reviews, governance, and leadership responsibilities.
â Should Have:
â Experience driving student engagement, retention, and institutional partnerships within higher education or edtech ecosystems.
â Ability to manage cross-functional teams and execute high-impact operational initiatives at scale.
â Strong understanding of academic quality frameworks, student success metrics, and operational governance.
â MBA / PGDM preferred.
â Nice to Have:
â Prior experience in college partnerships, higher education, or large-scale learning environments.
â Exposure to academic analytics, student lifecycle management, and performance improvement strategies.
â Based in Mumbai or open to frequent travel across partner colleges.
