Lead PHP & Symfony Software Engineer

We're hiring a Lead PHP & Symfony Engineer to own mission-critical backend systems where code quality and reliability are non-negotiable. You'll work end-to-end within an Agile team from design through deployment applying TDD, clean architecture, and mentoring others along the way.

Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain backend systems in PHP/Symfony.
- Own features end-to-end, from technical design to production release.
- Write clean, tested,



strongly-typed code following TDD and design-pattern best practices.
- Maintain automated test coverage (PHPUnit) and use static analysis tools for quality.
- Lead code reviews and break down complex work into actionable tasks.
- Collaborate with product, design, and QA; document architecture decisions.
- Mentor junior/mid-level engineers; participate in on-call rotation.
- Ensure secure coding practices and vulnerability-free code.

Requirements :

- 5 years PHP (7.4/8 ), 3 years Symfony.
- Robust grasp of design patterns and TDD.
- Experience with PHPUnit/Behat and static analysis (PHPStan/Psalm).
- Solid CI/CD and code coverage experience.
- Strong communication skills and high ownership mindset.

Nice-to-Have :

- MongoDB, JavaScript/React/Node.js/TypeScript.
- Docker/Kubernetes.
- High-availability/mission-critical systems experience.
