We're looking for a hands-on Java Lead to own technical delivery, guide a distributed team, and drive engineering excellence across our cloud-native platform. Tech Stack

Java 21, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, CosmosDB, Redis, Grafana, CI/CD pipelines Cloud: AWS (SQS, SES, Secrets Manager), Azure (Key Vault, Service Bus, Email), GCP Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a geographically distributed engineering team

Own the technical roadmap, sprint planning, and delivery timelines

Architect and maintain high-performance, scalable Spring Boot applications

Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows across multi-cloud environments

Drive observability metrics collection, Grafana dashboards, ClickHouse structured logging, alerting

Manage and tune databases (PostgreSQL, CosmosDB, Redis) including query optimization

Ensure application reliability, efficient memory usage, and horizontal scaling





Enforce security best practices across infrastructure and application layers

Build AI agents, author agent configuration (agent MD files), and derive skills for owned applications

Requirements

8+ years in Java/Spring Boot with 2+ years in a lead role

Robust hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP services

Proven track record managing distributed teams across time zones

Deep understanding of application performance tuning, scaling, and reliability

Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and DevOps practices

Solid SQL and database administration skills

Preferred

Cybersecurity background, including Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) knowledge

Experience building AI agents and integrating LLMs into engineering workflows

Familiarity with observability platforms (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry)
