We are looking for a Lead Electrical Designer to drive electrical design and execution across current outlet setups and existing site upgrades. The role involves end-to-end electrical planning, design standardization, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical design and drawing preparation for new projects, renovations, and retrofits.
- Prepare and review Main Single Line Diagrams (SLD)and detailed electrical layouts.
- Design and develop power layouts, lighting layouts, CCTV, and data layouts.
- Perform load calculations, cable sizing, switchgear sizing, and UPS/battery sizing as per standards.
- Design and finalize SPN and TPN Distribution Boards (DBs).
- Prepare and validate electrical BOQs/Bill of Materials (BOM)and project CAPEX.
- Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and internal project teams for design approvals and execution.
- Review vendor drawings and ensure alignment with project requirements and standards.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide technical inputs.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, codes, and regulations.
- Support execution teams in resolving design-related issues during installation and commissioning.
Key Requirements:
- 7-9 years of experience in electrical design and drawing preparation, preferably in commercial projects (retail, hospitality, malls, etc.).
- Strong hands-on experience in AutoCAD 2D.
- Expertise in:
- Load calculations
- Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
- Lighting and power layouts
- Cable and switchgear sizing
- Experience in handling multi-site project coordination.
- Good understanding of electrical standards, safety norms, and compliance.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
