Purpose:

- Ensure compliance with all applicable EHS regulations and company policies.

- To independently oversee and manage environmental compliance, including permits, reporting and implementation of pollution prevention measures.

- To proactively develop, implement and sustain EHS strategies that integrate regulatory requirements with business objectives, promoting a culture of safety, environmental stewardship and operational excellence.

- To collaborate with plant leadership teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and build capability across the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Ensure compliance with all applicable EHS legal and regulatory requirements under the OSH&WC; Code, EPA, PESO and relevant EHS legislation.

- Develop, implement and monitor site-specific EHS procedures, work instructions and systems in line with Industries standards.

- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive measures.

- Develop and conduct EHS training and awareness programs to build capability and enhance the EHS culture.

- Prepare, maintain and submit all statutory records, reports and returns related to environmental permits,



hazardous waste, emissions and safety compliance.

- Coordinate internal and external EHS audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.

- Monitor and drive continuous improvement initiatives related to energy conservation, waste minimization and sustainable practices.

- Facilitate risk assessments, HAZOP studies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

- Support implementation of Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) programs and other cultural initiatives for risk reduction.

- Liaise with statutory authorities, regulatory bodies and third-party agencies for inspections, reporting and compliance.

Essential Key Skills:

- Robust knowledge of environmental legislation, permits and compliance requirements.

- Expertise in risk assessment methodologies, incident investigation and root cause analysis.

- Ability to manage regulatory reporting and liaison with authorities.

- Strong interpersonal skills to drive engagement, training and cultural change.

- Proficiency in EHS management systems, documentation and performance monitoring.
