Job Title: Lead Data Engineer

Duration: 18 Months

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Lead Data Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-scale data products supporting Supply Chain analytics and AI initiatives. You will lead technical design, mentor engineers, and build scalable cloud-native data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities

- Design and build scalable data pipelines and data products on GCP.
- Develop solutions using Dataproc, BigQuery, SQL, and dbt.
- Create robust data models and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Optimize data performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Mentor team members and support Agile delivery, production support, and continuous improvement.





Required Qualifications

- 8+ years of Data Engineering experience with technical leadership.
- Robust hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Expert-level skills in Dataproc, BigQuery, SQL, and dbt.
- Experience building cloud-native ETL/ELT pipelines and data models.
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and modern engineering practices.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Apache Airflow, Kafka, PySpark, and Python.
- Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality.
- Experience in Retail, Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics, or Warehouse Management (WMS).
