Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly curious and motivated analytical person to join the Airtel Finance team which is growing at a significant pace. This role is crucial in transforming complex business challenges within the lending domain into actionable data strategies and creative solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of analytical prowess, business acumen, and a proactive approach to leveraging Artificial Intelligence to enhance efficiency and decision-making across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Problem to Solution: Translate complex business problems into well-defined data problems, designing and implementing robust analytical solutions that address critical business needs within the lending lifecycle.
- Data Analysis & Modeling: Conduct in-depth exploratory data analysis, develop predictive models, and utilize advanced statistical techniques to uncover insights, identify trends, and forecast outcomes relevant to lending products and customer behavior.
- AI Integration & Efficiency: Actively identify opportunities and implement Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) solutions in day-to-day analytical workflows to improve operational efficiency, automate processes, and enhance the accuracy of insights.
- Business Acumen & Strategy: Apply a deep understanding of the lending industry, market dynamics, and business objectives to contextualize data findings, ensuring that analytical insights directly support strategic decision-making and drive tangible business value.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various stakeholders, including product development, risk management, operations, and leadership teams, to understand their analytical needs and effectively communicate complex data insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Reporting & Visualization:



Develop and maintain compelling reports and interactive dashboards using data visualization tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide ongoing performance insights.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, AI, and industry best practices, continuously seeking new methods and technologies to improve analytical capabilities and drive innovation.

- AI/ML Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience applying Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, natural language processing, agentic AI frameworks) to real-world business scenarios, resulting in measurable efficiency gains or improved outcomes.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python for data analysis, modeling, and automation.
- Experience with data visualization tools, preferably Tableau.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and big data technologies is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex analytical findings clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
