Job Title: Lead Cloud Architect – AWS Migration Experience: 8+ Years Location: Remote Employment Type: Contract Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Lead Cloud Architect to drive the technical strategy and architecture for large-scale Data Center to AWS Cloud Migration programs. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership across migration workstreams, define cloud transformation roadmaps, design enterprise-grade AWS architectures, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful migration of mission-critical workloads.

Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end architecture and technical strategy for enterprise cloud migration initiatives.

Define migration roadmaps, governance frameworks, and execution strategies for large-scale AWS migration programs.

Design and implement AWS Landing Zones and enterprise cloud foundations.

Architect AWS networking solutions using VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and Control Tower.

Develop migration wave plans, workload sequencing strategies, and execution frameworks.

Assess applications and infrastructure to determine appropriate migration approaches, including Rehost (Lift & Shift) and Replatform.

Collaborate with client stakeholders, architects, project teams, and business leaders to drive migration success.

Ensure cloud solutions align with AWS Well-Architected Framework principles.

Provide guidance on security, reliability, scalability, operational excellence, and cost optimization.

Lead technical workshops, architecture reviews, and migration planning sessions.





Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership throughout project delivery.

Required Skills & Experience 8+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture, or Cloud Transformation.

Proven experience leading at least two large-scale Data Center to AWS Migration programs.

Experience designing migration wave plans and workload migration strategies.

Strong documentation, presentation, and architecture governance experience.

Mandatory Certification AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Skilled Preferred Qualifications AWS Certified Security – Specialty.

Experience within Insurance, Healthcare, or Financial Services domains.

Experience with enterprise-scale cloud governance and security frameworks.
