Role Description The Lead Clinical Governance, Medical Affairs & Quality role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for overseeing clinical governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to medical standards, and driving quality improvement initiatives across healthcare operations.
Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing clinical policies, reviewing and updating protocols, monitoring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, and leading clinical audits and risk management activities. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support medical affairs,
providing guidance on clinical best practices, and leading training programs for clinical staff. The lead will analyze clinical performance data, support research and evidence-based practice, and contribute to strategic decisions that enhance patient safety, service quality, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, present clinical findings, and engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Solid foundation in Medicine, with clinical experience or medical affairs exposure, and a transparent understanding of healthcare standards, patient safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in Training, including designing and delivering clinical education programs, mentoring teams, and supporting continuous professional development.
- Proficiency in Research and Clinical Research, with the ability to interpret evidence, support protocol development, and integrate best practices into clinical governance.
- Proven leadership experience in clinical governance, quality management, or medical affairs within healthcare or RCM-related environments.
- Ability to analyze clinical and operational data, identify trends, and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Relevant advanced degree in Medicine, Healthcare Management, or a related field; additional certifications in quality, clinical governance, or healthcare administration are an advantage.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, patient-centered care, and continuous improvement in service quality.
