Lead Analyst - Application Development

Job Posting Description Empower India is seeking a highly motivated Lead Analyst to serve as the functional owner of an internally developed document automation platform. This role is ideal for an experienced full-stack application developer who enjoys transforming business requirements into intuitive, scalable software solutions.

As a key member of the development team, you will own the ongoing enhancement of a business-critical application built on a Laravel back end and React front end. You will partner closely with business stakeholders to understand operational needs, design application features, and deliver solutions that automate the creation of high-quality business documents, including emails and PDF documents.

This position combines application ownership, software engineering, and solution design. The ideal candidate has a strong product mindset, is comfortable working across the full technology stack, and enjoys taking business ideas from concept through implementation.

Role Responsibilities

- Serve as the functional owner of an internally developed document automation platform, driving the design, development, and continuous improvement of application features.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, user-friendly application functionality.
- Design and develop responsive user interfaces using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using the Laravel framework.
- Design and implement PostgreSQL database structures using Laravel migrations while ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.




- Design and maintain document templates and generation workflows to support a variety of business use cases.
- Integrate the application with enterprise systems, internal APIs, and third-party services.
- Collaborate with technical team members to ensure solutions align with existing application architecture and development standards.
- Maintain technical documentation, source control, and development best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to other developers when appropriate.
- Identify opportunities to improve usability, automate manual processes, and deliver a high-quality user experience
- Stay current with emerging technologies, including AI-powered application capabilities, and recommend solutions that improve business outcomes.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline..

Required Experience

- 5+ years designing and developing modern web applications.
- Robust experience developing applications using Laravel/PHP.
- Strong experience developing front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and relational database design.
- Experience working with Git and modern software development practices.
- Experience collaborating directly with business stakeholders to define and implement application features.
- Experience building and integrating cloud-based applications using AWS services

Preferred Experience

- Experience integrating enterprise applications with internal and third-party APIs.
- Experience working with Snowflake.
- Experience integrating applications using LiteLLM or similar LLM gateway frameworks.
- Exposure to Amazon Bedrock or other generative AI platforms.
- Experience developing document generation or workflow automation applications.
- Experience designing responsive,



user-focused interfaces and application workflows
- Experience writing Python applications, preferably for AWS Lambda
- Develop and maintain Python-based AWS Lambda functions that generate business documents, including email communications and PDFs

Work with AWS services including Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, and related cloud technologies
